چکیده
The offshore wind turbine (OWT) is a high-rise structure that extremely sensitive to dynamic loads such as wind, waves, and earthquakes. Therefore, in order avoid resonance, it important accurately calculate the natural frequencies of OWT at design stage. integrated finite element model DTU (Technical University Denmark) 10 MW established based on OpenSees software. correctness superstructure simplification method confirmed by comparing calculated analysis software HAWC2 for single-blade fixed constraint bottom tower. mode shapes overall are compared with those mudline concentrated mass top Then, parameters soil shear modulus G0, void ratio e, pile embedded length L, diameter D, water depth, blade stiffness analyzed using lumped tower, some regular conclusions about variation frequency obtained. Finally, model, influence short-term cyclic loading monopiles dense sand studied. results indicate pile-soil interaction has significant impact frequencies, higher second bending OWT, front-after direction more significantly impacted than side-side direction. unlikely affect sand.

An Approach to Supporting Maintenance of Offshore Wind Turbine Blades
Offshore wind turbine blades suffer from various faults such as blade angle asymmetry, icing, and bends. Replacement of rotor blades normally involves heavy transportation (e.g., vessel and crane), and dependency on weather conditions. As a result, wind turbines come to a long standstill and costs on energy production increase. One approach to reducing the downtime and costs is to apply a prope...
متن کاملAn Optimal Number-Dependent Preventive Maintenance Strategy for Offshore Wind Turbine Blades Considering Logistics
In offshore wind turbines, the blades are among the most critical and expensive components that suffer from different types of damage due to the harsh maritime environment and high load. The blade damages can be categorized into two types: the minor damage, which only causes a loss in wind capture without resulting in any turbine stoppage, and the major (catastrophic) damage, which stops the wi...
متن کاملMaterials for Wind Turbine Blades: An Overview
A short overview of composite materials for wind turbine applications is presented here. Requirements toward the wind turbine materials, loads, as well as available materials are reviewed. Apart from the traditional composites for wind turbine blades (glass fibers/epoxy matrix composites), natural composites, hybrid and nanoengineered composites are discussed. Manufacturing technologies for win...
متن کاملStudy of the Effects of Lacing Rods Location on Natural Frequencies in Last Stage Blades of a Steam Turbine
In this study, effects of lacing rods location on natural frequencies of last stage of a Steam Turbine Blades (STBs) have been investigated. STBs are critical and important elements in a turbine as well as power plants. One of the most important parameters in turbine blades is lacing rods location. In this paper, first, a three dimensional (3D) scan was used to produce the geometrical model of ...
متن کاملStrong stabilisation of a wind turbine tower model in the plane of the turbine blades
We investigate the strong stabilization of a wind turbine tower model in the plane of the turbine blades, which comprises a nonuniform SCOLE system and a two-mass drive-train model (with gearbox). The control input is the torque created by the electrical generator. Using a strong stabilization theorem for a class of impedance passive linear systems with bounded control and observation operators...
